Iron Mountain Collieries, LLC of P.O. Box 2470, Wise, Virginia 24293 is applying for the transfer, assignment, or sale of the permit rights of Cumberland Coal Corporation of P.O. Box 2007, Pikeville, KY 41502 concerning Permit No. 1202423 located in Wise County 3 Miles North of Appalachia on Preacher Creek as provided by 4 VAC 25-130-774.17 of the Virginia Coal Surface Mining Reclamation Regulations.

Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this application to transfer, assign, or sell the permit rights of the aforementioned permit, may within 30 days of May 15, 2026 submit written comments concerning the application to the Mined Land Repurposing Program. A copy of the application materials is available electronically for public inspection at
