UVA Wise students lead 13th Annual Take Back the Night, sharing powerful messages of awareness and support

Students from UVA Wise came together for the 13th Annual Take Back the Night march and program, where student speaker and UVA Wise senior Destiny Ansley-Cureton and keynote speaker, UVA Wise alumna Anngel Gallihar ’25, bravely shared their stories and delivered powerful messages of awareness and support. The evening also featured a moving guitar performance by UVA Wise senior Lucy Cunliffe. Together, we stood with survivors and reaffirmed our commitment to creating a safer, more compassionate community.
