Wise County Board of Supervisors - Hearing to receive public comments on a change to Wise County’s FY 2025-2026 budget

NOTICE

    The Wise County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday,  March 12, 2026 at 6:00pm in the School Board Education Center located on Lake Street in Wise for the purpose of receiving public comments on a change to Wise County’s FY 2025-2026 budget in the amount of approximately $2,058,670  which is an amount greater than 1% of the adopted Wise County FY 2025-2026 budget.  Approximately $1,988,952 for grant funds, $32,170 for transient occupancy fees, $1,880 for fees collected, $4,000 for asset forfeiture recoveries, and $31,668 for insurance recoveries.
