JOHN RANDY DEAN

September 20, 1945 – April 4, 2024

John Randy Dean, 78, of Friendswood, Texas passed away on April 4, 2024. He was born September 20, 1945 to John Carter Dean and Georgia Ruth Moore Dean in Wise Virginia. At 18, he joined the Air Force and began his career in flight simulators. In 1965 he married Bunny Bundick who passed away in 2015 and they had two daughters, Jessica and Heather. He retired from the Air Force in 1984 and moved the family to Texas to work at NASA.

He is survived by his daughters Jessica and husband Robert Monroe and their two daughters and nine grandchildren and Heather and husband Ronald Goff and their son and daughter. He is also survived by his wife Rosalee whom he married in 2019, her daughter Melody Short and son, Jason Woods. Through this marriage he was blessed with seven additional grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Paul and George; and his two sisters, Cathy and Deanna.

Randy was a kind, loving, caring, wonderful family man. He thoroughly enjoyed golfing with his many friends. He loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, animals, motorcycles and vacationing in Mexico. He is so very loved and will always be missed by everyone. We take solace that he is now with his Lord Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Randy Davis officiating.
